Padel racket with a photo: how it works and what to expect
A name or a logo is personal. Your own photo is more personal still. More and more customers choose a photo on the face, and that calls for a few things you want to know beforehand.

A padel racket with a photo is the most personal thing we make. Not a name, not a logo, but a real image: a child, a pet, a moment that matters. Precisely because it is so personal, it raises different questions from text or a simple logo. Here is how it works.
Why put a photo on your racket
A name on a face is clear and always works. A photo goes a step further: the racket becomes an object with a story. We see this most often with gifts, a photo of the person receiving it or of their child or pet, and with players who want their own racket to be that bit more personal than a colour and a set of initials. Which photos work well
- High resolution. At least 300 DPI at the final print size. Photos straight from a modern phone camera almost always qualify.
- A clear subject, little noise. A close-up of a face, a pet or a landscape comes across better on a round face than a busy group photo full of detail.
- Enough contrast. Photos with light and dark next to each other print more sharply than flat, even images.
What works less well
Screenshots, photos that have already been enlarged once, and images with a lot of small detail, a large group of people for example, often end up soft or unclear at the size of a racket face. Not sure about your file? Simply upload it in the designer: it warns you automatically when the resolution is too low.
How to add a photo in the designer
Open the designer, choose “Upload your own image” and drag your photo to the position you want on the face. You can scale the photo and, if you like, add text in a free spot beside it. The check matters even more here
With a photo we look a little harder during the check before finishing than we do with text: are the colours right, is the image sharp enough, is it positioned well. We check your design within 24 hours of your order and only get in touch if something will not come out well. There is no proof to approve, so nothing is waiting on you.
The print itself is a full-colour, UV-resistant film applied to the 3K carbon face in our workshop in the Netherlands. How that compares with other printing methods is set out in the guide to padel racket printing.
What does a racket with a photo cost?
A photo on the face only (Basic) costs €99.99. Want the side printed as well, with a name or a date for example, then you choose Full Custom at €119.99. Both prices include VAT. Shipping is charged separately at checkout and depends on the country, from €6.95 in the Netherlands to €24.95 in Switzerland and Norway. Finishing takes 7 days, followed by at most 3 days with DHL anywhere in Europe.
