Padel racket colours: which combinations work best?
The colour of your racket is the first thing people see when you walk onto the court. Whether you go for sharp black, fresh white or a bold colour that matches your brand, the choice has more impact than you would think.

Having a custom padel racket made always starts with the same question: which colour will the background be? It looks like a simple choice, but the colour decides how well your logo stands out, how the racket looks on court and whether it fits your club colours or your brand.
Dark or light?
This is the most fundamental choice. Dark colours (black, navy, dark green) give a premium, sharp feel. Light colours (white, cream, light grey) are fresher and photograph well in the sun. Both work. It depends on what goes on top.
Dark background: this works best
- White or light-coloured logos and text jump straight out.
- Gold or silver looks luxurious on black or navy.
- Neon colours (yellow, pink, green) give an energetic contrast.
Light background: this works best
- Dark logos and text are sharp and readable.
- Colours such as teal, red or purple stand out well on a white or cream base.
- Works well for clubs with a colourful logo.

Black with white text
Timeless, sharp, works for any logo. The holes in the face are less noticeable against a black background, which gives the racket a more even and more professional look.
White with teal
Fresh and sporty. Works well for clubs with green club colours and for corporate gifts where you want a smart look that does not shout.
Navy with gold
Premium and luxurious. Popular with companies that want to give a high-end corporate gift. The gold can be approached with a yellow or orange text colour in our designer.
Red with white
Striking and energetic. Works well for players who want to be seen and for tournament prizes where the winner cannot miss it.
Colour and logo: how do you match them?
Upload your logo in our designer and try different background colours. The preview gives you a good idea straight away of how the combination turns out. A few tips:
- Transparent logo (PNG): the background colour of the racket becomes the background of your logo. Pick a colour that fits your brand.
- Logo with a white background (JPG): choose a white or cream racket colour so the join is not visible. Or use the background remover in the designer, which cuts the background away automatically.
- Text without a logo: high contrast works best through the holes. White on black or black on yellow are the most readable combinations.

Setting your own colour with a hex code
