These are typical ranges, not fixed prices: the same model can cost quite different amounts depending on the shop and the time of year. An entry racket is fine to start with, but tends to wear faster and gives less feel for the ball. For most players the mid-range is enough. What makes one padel racket more expensive than another?
Four things push the price up. The face: fibreglass is cheaper and more flexible, carbon stiffer and more durable, and some top models use special carbon weaves. The core: EVA rubber or foam in different densities, with brands developing their own blends. The construction: reinforced frames, anti-vibration systems and textured surfaces add cost. And the brand: the big names spend heavily on professional players, sponsorship and advertising, and that sits in the price too. How much should you spend as a beginner?
Roughly £50 to £120 buys a solid first racket. The big brands such as Bullpadel, Head, Nox, Adidas and Babolat all have beginner and intermediate ranges in or around that bracket. Once you play every week and your strokes are settled, a mid-range racket of roughly £80 to £160 is where most club players end up. Competition players with a clear style, such as attackers who want a diamond shape and a hard core, often spend more. You can order a single racket. A cover is not included as standard; it is an option, and you can also order one on its own as a custom padel cover. What does shipping cost?
Shipping is not included and is added at checkout, by country: for example €17.95 to the United Kingdom, €16.95 to Ireland, €6.95 within the Netherlands and €12.95 to Germany. Production takes up to 7 working days, and the racket is at your door within 10 working days. What does a padel racket cost for a team or company?
For clubs, teams and companies there are fixed tiered prices, excluding VAT: €99 per racket for 5, €89 for 10, €79 for 25 and €74 for 50. From 100 rackets we make a quote. When is a more expensive racket worth it?
If you play competition several times a week with an attacking style, a specialist top model can make a difference. For most other players, above roughly £120 you are paying mainly for the brand and its marketing. Our racket is not a top model and does not pretend to be. If you want a professional’s racket, buy it from one of the big brands. If you want a sound racket that is yours, with your name or design on it, that is what we make.
What is in our price, and what is not?
Our price includes the racket, the personalisation with a UV-resistant full-colour print and a protective layer, a check of your design before production and a 12-month warranty on material and print defects. We only contact you if something in the design is not right. Not included: shipping, a cover and any import charges outside the EU. Our prices are the same all year round.
