Not everyone wants a fully custom design. Sometimes a padel racket with a name or a set of initials is all it takes to make it personal. Why a padel racket with just a name?
Three advantages over a busy design:
It looks professional. A well-set name on a racket looks stylish on court. No loud colours, no collage of elements.
It is timeless. Trends come and go. A name always works.
It is practical. On a court full of players you spot your own racket straight away. Useful at clubs with shared kit, or in teams that play the same base racket.
Where do you put the name?
Two main options:
On the face: large and prominent. Visible to opponents and partners. Works well with short names or initials.
On the side: subtle and personal. The owner sees it every time they pick up the racket. Works well with longer names, or a full first and last name.
Our Full Custom option prints both, so you can combine them: initials on the face, full name on the side. Plenty of customers choose exactly that.
Which names work well?
Five variations we see time and again:
First name only
Simple, recognisable, and it always works. Especially with a short first name (Bob, Lisa, Max).
First and last name
More formal. Works well in a business context or for players who want to be recognised by name.
Initials
Good for anyone with a long name, or several of them: “B.W.” or “M.v.B.” as a design element, for example.
Nickname or court name
For anyone with a clear identity on court. Think “The Hammer” or “Smash King”.
Name with a date or number
“Jan, 2026” or “Lisa #7”, for example. It adds another layer without cluttering the design.
What does a padel racket with a name cost?
For private customers: €99.99 for a printed face (name on the face, standard black side) and €119.99 for Full Custom (name on the face plus the side, or an extra element). Two Full Custom rackets as a Duo Deal cost €200.
All prices include VAT and a standard protective cover. Shipping is shown separately at checkout and depends on the country: €6.95 in the Netherlands, €9.95 to Belgium and Luxembourg, €12.95 to Germany, €13.95 to France and Austria, and so on across Europe. A premium protective case is €10 extra.

Step 3: Add the name
Click “add text” and type the name.
Step 4: Choose style and position
Pick a font, size, colour and position. The 3D preview shows you straight away how it will look.
Step 5: Order
Place your order and we check your design within 24 hours. If anything looks off, we get in touch first. Then it is 7 days of finishing in our workshop in the Netherlands and at most 3 days with DHL to anywhere in Europe.
Tips for a good result
Go for contrast. White text on a black racket or black text on a white racket works better than subtle colour combinations.
Not too small. To stay legible on court, make the name on the face at least 5 cm high.
Capitals often work better than lower case for short names. “BOB” looks stronger than “Bob” on a racket.
Unsure about the font? Stick with our default, a classic sans-serif. If you want something more striking, a blackletter or handwritten style works well.
