Padel gift for Christmas: what to give and when to order

Christmas Day 2026 falls on Friday 25 December. If someone in your circle plays padel, a racket with their name, their club or your own design on the face costs €99.99 including VAT, and €119.99 with the side printed as well. Production takes up to 7 working days and DHL at most 3 more, so order by Wednesday 9 December 2026.

Christmas presents for someone who plays padel usually land in one of two piles: another tube of balls with a sleeve of overgrips, or a voucher for a sports shop. Both are fine. Neither is remembered in February. A racket with their own name, club or design on the face sits in their bag all year and goes out onto the court every week.

Here is what is worth giving, what it costs and the date to keep in mind. For a wider list across budgets, see padel gift ideas: 10 original presents.

Why a personalised racket works as a present

A gift says something about how well you know the person. A racket with their name on the face, the year they joined their club, or a line only the two of you understand, is specific in a way a voucher cannot be. It is also used. A keen player takes their racket out of the bag once or twice a week, which is more than most presents manage.

Underneath the print sits a proper racket rather than a novelty: round shape, 3K carbon face, EVA foam core, 360 grams, with a 12-month warranty. The print is full colour and UV resistant, so it holds up through a season of outdoor play. More on what to put on the face is in padel racket with a name.

What to give

  • A racket with a printed face, €99.99. Their name in large letters, a photo, or their club crest. The option that suits most people.
  • Full Custom, €119.99. Face and side both printed, which leaves room for a date, a nickname or a short line along the side.
  • Duo Deal, €200. Two Full Custom rackets, for a couple who play together or for a parent and a child.
  • A blank racket, €79.99. For someone who would rather decide for themselves what goes on it.
  • A premium protective cover, €15 extra. A small addition to any of the above, with a shoulder strap. With your design on it, €35.

If your budget has a hard ceiling, what a padel gift under 100 euros buys sets out exactly where the line falls.

The date to keep: 9 December 2026

Christmas Day 2026 is Friday 25 December. Working backwards: we check every design before production, which in our workshop in the Netherlands takes up to 7 working days, and DHL needs at most 3 working days on top of that anywhere in Europe. Order by Wednesday 9 December 2026 and there is room left in the schedule.

A few practical notes on timing:

  • Order earlier if the parcel goes to a second address first, for example to a relative who passes it on.
  • Deliveries outside the EU, the United Kingdom included, pass through customs. Allow extra days there, and expect DHL to ask for import duties and local VAT before handing the parcel over.
  • Business orders of 5 rackets or more take 7 to 14 working days of production, so approve the quote for those by Wednesday 11 November 2026.

The full picture per country, shipping costs included, is in custom padel racket delivery across Europe.

Not sure a racket will suit them? Our page on padel gifts says honestly when it does and when it does not, with the same order dates.

What it costs in total

Prices include VAT and shipping is added separately at checkout, from €6.95 in the Netherlands and €12.95 to Germany to €16.95 to Ireland and €17.95 to the United Kingdom. All our prices are in euros. There is no minimum order, so a single racket is fine, and from 5 rackets the business tiers apply instead.

Designing it without spoiling the surprise

You make the design yourself in the designer: upload a logo or a photo, add text, pick your colours and check the 3D preview. No account is needed and it takes five to ten minutes. Two things worth doing:

Keep the text short. A first name, a nickname or a year reads well from the other side of the court. A full sentence does not.

Do not show them the preview beforehand. Unwrapping it is part of the present, and since we check the design by hand before production and only get in touch if something is unclear, you do not need a second opinion on whether it will print cleanly.
